Book Review: I See Things Differently

This book will help children to understand what autism is and the way it affects someone who has it, whether that is a class member or a sibling. 

It is written from the child's perspective to increase the understanding of aspects of autism. Throughout the story positive interactions are encouraged among children, parents and teachers.

The author, Pat Thomas is a psychotherapist and counsellor and it is with this experience she approaches the story with language that younger readers can readily connect. A simple storyline helps to explore the personal feelings associated with the social issues that arise with autism.
