Plumtree, Kindred and Now & Next are excited to host the 6th Family Conference – Becoming part of the community: taking steps towards inclusion
Held online, the conference brings together families of children with disabilities and their allies. It aims to inspire, educate and empower families in building a good life and celebrate people with a disability who are making a difference in their community.
This year’s theme is inclusion in the community for families of children with a disability or delay. How can we create the same opportunities to do things that other children do on a day out?
Join our presentations to learn about:
- Overcoming common barriers to inclusion
- Positive changes happening in community organisations
- Starting small and encouraging greater community participation
The conference is for
We welcome and encourage families and anyone who supports or works with children with delay, disability or neurodivergence aged birth to 12 years old to attend. Including:
- Families: parents, carers and family members raising a child with delay.
- Professionals: Are you a Support Worker, Early Intervention Professional, or do you work for a Community Organisation? Join us to learn how you can support the children you work with to be included in the community.
