The core themes and principles of SRV will be explored through presentations, exercises and discussions. Completion allows entry to the 5-day practicum, PASSING.
Who Should Attend:
The workshop is designed for participants from a range of sectors including disability, aged care, mental health, youth etc. This includes advocates, services managers, support workers, coordinators, family members, educators, students and people who receive human services.
Participants attending should be looking for ways of meeting the real needs of marginalised people, resulting in a better life, and who are interested in understanding more about Social Role Valorisation.
Workshop details:
- Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 October (participants must attend both days)
- On day 1, please arrive at 8:30 AM to sign in, for an 9:00 AM start. Concludes at 5:00 PM.
- On day 2, please arrive at 8:30 AM to sign in, for a 9:00 AM start. Concludes at 5:00 PM.
