This recipe is my favourite sweet treat to prepare for a movie night because it is easy and goes well with salty popcorn! It only has 5 ingredients, it is gluten-free and vegan, and best of all: it is safe to share with your cat or dog (but only a little nibble)!
Ingredients
1 banana1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, it doesn’t matter)½ cup brown sugar1 ½ teaspoon almond essence or vanilla essenceSaltWhat you need
ForkMeasuring cups and spoons Mixing bowl Baking paper Baking trayWhat you need to do
Use a fork to mash banana into a smooth paste
Add peanut butter, sugar, and almond essence to the mashed banana
Mix everything with a spoon
Line the baking tray with baking paper
Roll the cookie dough into 3cm balls and place on the baking tray
Flatten the balls on the tray with the palm of your hand
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 C (or 160 C fan-forced)
